WHEAT FLOUR SAMOSA IN AIRFRYER

The legacy of samosa is passing on from generation to generation. When the Persian traders introduced ' SAMOSA ' to India they had their own version of stuffing the samosa. Indian locals , households and home cooks made the preparation of samosa myriad by adding the ingredients according to their own preference and choice while preparing this legendary triangular pastry . Some tried it with sweet stuffing , some with veggies, some with minced meat and some with fish , variations went on as per the adaptability of Indian regions , culture and taste. Now-a-days samosa is found in every nook and corner of Indian street side food and eateries as breakfast , starters or tea time snacks. The crispy outer layer and the flavorful filling makes this refreshment never to be ignored. Today, we are going to prepare this tasty aromatic triangular pockets with a healthy version . We are going to use whole wheat flour and fry it into an air fryer to avoid the mess of oil , so that we don't have to count the number of samosas while we devour them. The whole wheat flour air fried samosa we are going to prepare today are quick, easy and simple to make. So, without making any delay let's start with the recipe.

INGREDIENTS :
1) Boiled potatoes - 1/2 kg
2) Boiled fresh green peas - 1 cup


3) Green chilly - 7 - 8
4) Ginger - 1 inch roughly cut
5) Fresh coriander - 1/2 cup


6) Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
7) Aamchur powder - 1/2 tablespoon
8)Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
9) Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon
10) Garam masala - 1/2 tablespoon
11) Wheat flour - 2-3 cups
12) Carrom seeds ( ajwain ) 1/2 tablespoon
13) Salt

FOR MASALA :
1) Grind coarsely green chillies, fresh coriander, about 1 tablespoon of boiled green peas



FOR DOUGH :
Add carrom seeds and salt to the wheat flour and make a dough ( not too soft nor too hard )



FOR SAMOSA PREPARATION :
1) Crumble the potatoes , add ground masala and left over boiled green peas to it.
2) Add turmeric powder, amchur powder , garam masala powder, coriander powder , cumin powder , salt and mix well.


3) Add about 1 teaspoon of oil to a kadai , add prepared samosa mix to it and cook for about 2-3 minutes until it combines well


4) Prepare a medium sized chapati with the prepared dough and cut it into half


5) Prepare a cone as shown in the picture , fill the stuffing in the cone and close the cone by pressing its edges ( as shown in the picture )


6) Grease oil to the air fryer tub
7) Grease oil about 2 drops for each samosa


8) Set the air fryer on 180 degree c
9) Set the time for 8 minutes to fry on one side then turn the samosas and set the timing of 8 minutes to fry on another side.


10) Enjoy the samosas with chutney or sauce of your choice.
